The facility has 2000 square metres of enclosed space, including animal facilities, laboratories for the preparation of blood products and serum, egg incubator, as well as 500,000 square metres of fenced and controlled pastures

 

The following animal species can be housed:

• horse

• cattle/calf

• sheep/goat

• alpaca

• swine

• poultry (chickens, turkeys, quails, goose)

• rodents (mouse, rat, rabbit, guine pig)

• ferret

 

The centre is authorised according to the current legislation on animal use for experimental purposes with internal ethical committee (OPBA)
